Thank you statement

A few simple things you can do to get the most life out of your flowers:

Always make sure your vase is clean!

Start with room temperature water and don’t forget to add your flower food packet

Use the sharpest scissors or garden shears that you have and cut at an angle. You do not need to cut under the water, quality tools do not like to get wet so this never made sense to me. If you still want to do it that way, get it girl.

Make sure that any part of the stem that will be inside your vase is clean and leaf free!

Sometimes removing a leaf will break a stem so we do as much as we can for you but sometimes they’re so dang beautiful I leave them on – you can pinch or snip it off if you’re nervous.  Or just live and learn!

Place in a location that is free from direct sunlight for the majority of the day and away from fruit bowls! They release ethylene gas that ages the flowers faster.

If using flower food, you can wait a few days before changing your water. When you change your water give the vase a rinse or wash if visibly dirty and recut your stems so they can drink more easily.
